I have several questions as to the development of this game: Whats it being programmed in, if it is yet? Who is programming, if anyone?
and...Thats about it, really.

We will probably program it in Ruby seeing as it is the easiest form of programming and is most flexible. And I'll do some but most likely we'll need more then one programmer then little 'ol me

Might I suggest Game Maker, its easy to program in and well, I'm quite fluent in its language and could help you. You have to pay for the pro version, but its not that expensive and you can always pirate it.

Good point I suppose but if we make it from scratch the online capabilities are endless, I'll take to Impboy (co- produce) about it since he's funding most of the resources.

Awh no don't do scratch D: With game maker you can at least make it look somewhat professional, and you have way more control over the programming. And, if ever you want to learn a programming language, game maker will train you for what its like so that way you win more than once. God, I feel like an infomercial... EDIT: lol I'm an idiot, I thought you meant scratch, that like horrible programming thing, rather than from scratch. With game maker, it is basically from scratch. But meh. I'm not that good with online programming.

Actually I use scratch during my digital techonologies class because its the only program they can afford. (see wut I did thar?)
We'll probably do it in 2D because its easier to program and yeah we might as well do it on game maker it's there why not use it?

Just Throwing it in there but Byond is much better, harder but better I have a whole bunch of experience with the programing language and its very easy to learn. It also has a built in online multi-player feature. Why don't we hunt down a bunch of them and list them somewhere.
